Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Travu’s website, apps, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Travu.
What Travu is
Travu is a social trip platform. You can create and manage shared itineraries, invite friends or open a trip to other travelers, discover trips and places, use Travu AI to draft plans, browse and book flights, stays, and activities through the trip, and share photos, notes, and updates. Travu helps you organize the trip. It is not a carrier, hotel, tour operator, or travel insurer.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Keep your login details confidential and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Your conduct
Treat other travelers with respect. Do not harass, scam, spam, impersonate anyone, post illegal or hateful content, or do anything that puts other users at risk. When you meet or travel with people you met on Travu, use good judgment. Travu does not run background checks on users and does not guarantee anyone’s identity, conduct, or travel plans.
Trips, bookings, and third parties
You can add flights, stays, and activities to a trip from within Travu. Those offers come from third-party providers. Prices, availability, and the booking itself are between you and the provider. Travu is not a party to that contract and is not responsible if a flight changes, a stay is cancelled, or an activity is not as described. Confirm details with the provider before you travel.
Travu AI
Travu AI can draft itineraries and suggest routes from a destination, dates, and a vibe. Suggestions are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Review anything AI produces before you book or travel. You are responsible for the plan you publish and follow.
Your content
You keep ownership of the trips, photos, notes, and other content you post. You give Travu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Services — for example, to show a public trip on the feed. You are responsible for having the rights to share what you post. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Privacy
How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Using Travu means you also agree to that policy.
Limitation of liability
Use Travu at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Travu is not liable for losses arising from travel arrangements, bookings with third parties, interactions with other users, or your reliance on AI-generated plans. We provide the Services “as is” and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Ending your account
You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe puts the community or the Services at risk.
Changes
We may update these terms as Travu changes. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
